Local Knowledge That Matters
Moruya sits in the Essential Energy network and the Eurobodalla Shire Council area. Any new connection, meter change or service line work has to meet Essential Energy’s network standards and be carried out by an accredited Level 2 ASP — which is where a lot of homeowners get caught out by contractors who aren’t accredited for that work.
Being on the Moruya River also means flood-prone low-lying land in parts of town, and coastal air that’s hard on outdoor fittings, meter boxes and older overhead connections. We see the effects regularly and know what to look for.
The town’s mix of heritage buildings around the main street, post-war housing and newer estates means there’s no single “typical” Moruya job — which is exactly why an inspection beats a phone quote.
